1969 - Completed in December and delivered to John Wyer’s J. W. Automotive Engineering team 1970 - Had just two outings but was used extensively for testing. At the end of the year was returned to the factory and rebuilt on a new chassis (917-035) But confusingly the new chassis was stamped with 917-015. The original chassis was rebuilt as Spyder for Interserie with chassis 917-01-021 1971 - It’s last outing was at the Can-Am race at Watkins Glen 1972 - Converted to a two seater to be used as a PR demonstrator at Weissach 2000 - Returned to it’s original 1970 Daytona configuration in Gulf colours 2022 - Owned by Richard Mille
